Who operates Vastward

Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide accounts, save learning activity, manage membership access, keep the service secure, and respond when you contact us.
- Google account details: your name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, and authentication tokens needed to operate sign-in.
- Session and security details: session identifiers, IP address, browser or device information, and timestamps.
- Learning records: course progress, selected answers, saved reflections, completion state, and the content revision connected to that work.
- Membership records: your access status, billing state, and identifiers needed to connect your account to a payment or support record.
- Messages you send: the content and contact details included when you ask for help or report a scientific correction.
How Google account data is used
Vastward uses Google sign-in to create and identify your account. We request the basic profile, email, and OpenID permissions used for authentication. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, your contacts, or your private Google files.
Google account data is used only to sign you in, display your account identity, connect saved learning records to the correct account, protect account access, and provide support.
How we use information
We use personal information to operate the service and not to build advertising profiles. Vastward does not sell your personal information.
- Create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- Save progress, answers, reflections, and membership access to your account.
- Diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and maintain the reliability of the service.
- Answer account, membership, content, and scientific correction requests.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce the Terms when necessary.
Payments and service providers
When paid membership is available, Stripe will process checkout and payment information. Vastward will receive the membership and transaction details needed to grant access, manage renewal, and provide support. Vastward does not store your complete card number or card security code.
We may use hosting, database, security, email, analytics, and support providers that process limited information for Vastward. They receive only the access needed to provide their service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users, Vastward, or the public.
Retention and deletion
Account and learning records are kept while your account is active so that you can continue where you stopped. Security logs and backups may remain for a limited period. Payment and transaction records may be retained when required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing waihlongchoong@gmail.com from the address connected to your account. After identity verification, we will delete or anonymize information that is no longer required, subject to legal and security retention needs.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Vastward and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. We take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to that processing.
Younger users
You must be legally able to consent to the processing of your information where you live, or use Vastward with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. If you believe a young person has provided information without the required permission, contact us so we can investigate and remove it when appropriate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice before they take effect when required.
