Agreement and eligibility
By using Vastward, creating an account, or purchasing membership, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement where you live. If you need a parent or guardian to agree for you, they are responsible for supervising your use of Vastward.
What Vastward provides
Vastward provides bilingual astronomy lessons, interactive learning activities, celestial reference material, mission experiences, and evidence-led case files. Content is for education and general information. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or safety advice.
Astronomy develops as new observations are published. We may correct, expand, replace, or reorganize content to keep the learning experience accurate and useful.
Accounts and access
Google sign-in is used to create and access an account. You are responsible for the Google account you choose, the security of that account, and activity performed through your Vastward session.
Do not share paid access, bypass lesson locks, impersonate another person, or use automated methods to extract, overload, or interfere with the service. Tell us promptly if you believe your account is being used without permission.
Free access and paid membership
Free access includes the lessons and features identified as free. When online payment opens, a paid Vastward membership will open the published member lessons and features shown on the membership page. The exact price, billing period, currency, taxes, and benefits shown at checkout will form part of your purchase.
Monthly and yearly plans provide the same member access for different billing periods unless the purchase page clearly says otherwise.
Renewal, cancellation, and payment failure
When online payment opens, paid membership will renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You will be able to cancel before the next renewal. Cancellation will stop the next charge, and member access will continue until the end of the period already paid for.
If a payment fails, access may be limited while the payment is retried or updated. You will be responsible for keeping payment information current. We may change future prices with advance notice; a new price will not be applied to an earlier completed billing period.
Refunds
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, membership payments are non-refundable. This includes unused time, partial billing periods, accidental non-use, and cancellation after a renewal has been charged. Review the plan and billing period before purchase. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Your learning records and submissions
You keep ownership of reflections, answers, and other original material you submit. You give Vastward permission to store, process, reproduce, and display that material to you as needed to provide, secure, back up, and improve your learning experience.
Learning records are private to your account unless a feature clearly asks you to publish or share them. Do not submit unlawful content, private information about someone else, or material you do not have the right to use.
Content, sources, and intellectual property
Vastward lessons, original diagrams, interface design, writing, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the service for personal learning. You may not copy, resell, republish, or build a competing dataset from substantial parts of the service without written permission.
Official observations, third-party images, papers, and external sources remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their stated terms or attribution requirements. Links to third-party services do not mean Vastward controls or endorses everything on those services.
Availability, changes, and suspension
We aim to keep Vastward available and accurate, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider failures, security incidents, legal requirements, or product changes may temporarily affect the service.
We may suspend or close an account that materially violates these Terms, harms the service or other users, creates legal risk, or is used fraudulently. Where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to correct the issue.
Disclaimers and liability
Vastward is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, we do not promise that every part will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the extent allowed by law, Vastward is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. We encourage you to contact us first so that a concern can be understood and resolved directly.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Vastward changes. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice before they take effect when required. Continuing to use the service after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
